Executive Team Coaching
In addition to individual executive coaching, team coaching is often required to ensure strategic alignment, enhance team performance, improve executive communications and business relationships, and maximize effective participation.
EDI consultants work with clients to improve executive team performance at different stages of team development and in response to various organizational circumstances. These may include several types of challenges to excellence:
-
Building a new or newly consolidated leadership team to support M&A activity, re-structuring, or organizational re-alignment.
-
Re-building an existing team to improve performance and meet marketplace demands.
-
Installing a newly appointed senior executive into an existing team, to create shared vision, direction, and expectations.
-
Analyzing causes for team dysfunction and implementing changes.
Executive team coaching enables leaders to define goals, clarify roles, establish group expectations, and develop a common focus. Communications are enhanced and group dynamics improved, while overall team effectiveness increases. For the organization, the benefits of team coaching include better and faster decision-making and problem-solving, full participation, increased trust, and sustainable business relationships.
EDI consultants have worked with an extensive number of executive teams. We recognize that each team and each organization has different development needs, different challenges and different priorities. We design every coaching engagement to fit specific needs continually adapt our approach to meet each challenge.
