Maureen Farrell - Director of Research
 Maureen Farrell applies her research expertise to assist Executive Destinations clients in meeting their information needs.
Maureen owned and managed an information consultancy that provided corporate library services across various industries and disciplines such as: financial services, biomedical, healthcare, and energy. Maureens skills involve selecting information products that meet the needs of our clients whether they are searching for industry trends or specific company data.
In her capacity as information consultant Maureen created virtual libraries for corporations. In the virtual library setting all the information products are accessible via the corporate intranet. Appropriate information products are selected relating to the corporations information needs whether the needs are biotechnology or economics. These products were then placed on the corporate intranet in a logical manner to assist clients in starting their own research, anytime, anywhere their corporate intranet was available.
Maureens clients ranged from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups: Hewlett-Packard, Genzyme, AstraZeneca, Fleet Boston/Columbia Management Group and GTC Biotherapeutics. Maureen managed 11 employees across these companies, from information consultants to web designers. Maureen assisted Fidelity Investments, FMR Corp with their information needs for eight years before she let the entrepreneurial spirit take hold to start her our company 12 years ago.
Maureen received her Bachelor of Arts from Emmanuel College and her Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
