Elizabeth W. Spackman – Senior Consultant
 Elizabeth Spackman has assisted senior executives as an executive coach and management consultant for more than 30 years. She has worked with executives in a variety of industries, including finance, retail, technology, insurance, and manufacturing.
Elizabeth brings to EDI an in-depth knowledge of the corporate and the entrepreneurial arena. Her combined credentials in career transition and executive coaching give her clients both accomplished developmental credentials and innovative career planning expertise. Elizabeth’s commitment to her clients is the cornerstone of her principles and values.
Elizabeth’s corporate experience includes fourteen years in human resources in the retail and finance industries and nineteen years as an entrepreneur. She has held positions such as Director of Executive Career Planning and Development and Director of Executive Recruitment and Development. Elizabeth created and implemented an outplacement program for Bonwit Teller Department Store in New York City, after purchase by Donald Trump, successfully placing 92% of the total number of employees (approximately 2,500) with other companies.
In 1990, Elizabeth founded an executive coaching/career management firm. She focused on assisting corporations in the growth and development of their managers’ leadership and interpersonal skills. Her clients included companies such as Barnes & Noble Inc., Stop & Shop Supermarket Co., Giant Landover, Ahold USA, Penn Traffic and Stew Leonard’s.
In addition, her experience includes four years partnering with an international outplacement and career counseling firm. As a Senior Consultant in career transition she worked in the corporate office guiding managers in making career decisions. She also worked directly with corporations to establish career centers for companies such as AT&T, Data General and New England Electric.
Elizabeth earned a BA in Education from the University of Denver. She speaks regularly before women's organizations, colleges and universities’ BA and MBA programs on the topic of Career Management. She also volunteers at local high schools to teach seniors how to prepare for college interviews.
