Dr. John E. DeSanctis - Partner

Dr. John E. DeSanctis is an executive coach and management consultant with over 20 years experience in leadership development. He has established a track record of successfully advising and coaching hundreds of senior executives through organizational and career transitions, to enhanced leadership effectiveness and improved business performance. Since joining EDI as a partner in 2000, Jack has played a significant role in building the successful executive coaching practice area for the firm. The practice includes individual and executive team coaching, management appraisal, leadership development, strategy consulting and onboarding coaching for new executives.

Dr. DeSanctis works with organizations spanning a range of industries, including financial services, health care and life sciences, telecommunications and internet, high technology, engineering and manufacturing, information services, higher education, and legal and professional services. He has helped executives strengthen management style, improve operational effectiveness, develop leadership teams, build organizational capabilities, and enhance sales and service performance.

Before joining EDI as a Partner, Dr. DeSanctis held executive positions with several corporations, including Simplex Grinnell, Faxon, and Stone and Webster. As chief learning officer he designed organizational development and succession planning strategy, advised senior executives on career planning, created corporate universities, and directed the start-up and consolidation of business units.

Dr. DeSanctis academic training and corporate management experience provide a powerful blend of expertise in linking executive growth with business performance. He holds a doctorate from HarvardUniversity and a masters degree from Spalding University. He has held faculty positions at several universities and has taught and lectured at numerous professional meetings and conferences. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Council and has been an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, the Training Directors' Forum, and numerous professional associations.
